Not if you go direct to Koni roughly £40-50+vat for the front shocks and a little less for the rears.

I was talking about what warren was saying with custom stuff. Or is that what you are talking about too?

The standard shocks were made for the standard springs. Lowering it just on springs provides a really bouncy and unsafe ride IMO. A shock and spring set up made for one another will do the job much better.

GMAX is the way then. Warren's trying to be technical and failing miserably.

surely if you fit a redtop, the extra weight will lower it = make it handle better?

Gmax 40mm kit, nice price for what you want, slightly lower firmer ride.
No put spending silly money on something that is used to drive from A - B.

newtons law of gavity

the lower the center of gravity, the better it will handle

easy answer, fit a redtop, put the old engine it the back, and cut the springs

Excellent. Fill your car with concrete so its as low to the ground as possible and i'll take you round track in my auto rover. You said it yourself. The lower the better. You'll win hands down clearly.

Fad less of the Emo bashing

Mrs Jambo does less than 40mph most places so i dont need coilovers, strut braces and an xe. I just dont want it to handle like a boat anymore

Looking for a gmax kit now
