A what?
Where can I find it on my car too? a 98 sport with x14xe in it!

Ahh ok, would this make it run a bit dodgy then? As it doesnt seem quite right, a bit like a mis-fire but got new plugs leads and coil on it, and havent long had head gasket done!
Thanks for the speedy reply though stan

"Poor fuel economy, elevated CO and HC emissions, poor idle, and/or hesitation during acceleration are typical complaints"
Just done some research! Sounds like this could be the source of my problems! Maybe.
So checked with Haynes, and it says the lamda sensor is on the manifold somewhere but on DOHC engines (such as mine) you need to remove the cover to get at it!
So as far as I can see = Cover:
But how do you get it off? It seems like a single piece to me! Also, its falling apart! :
So how do you get that thing off? Or is the sensor somewhere else?
Thanks!

Haha, derrr!!!
Think I was investigating the wrong bit! The manifold heat shield:
is that silver plate isnt it? (at front of engine bay) Held on with 2 torx bolts, and some silver dish thing in the way!! lol. Looks like its something to do with the SAI!
So my lamda is under there somewhere is it?

JUST WONDERING-
Does anyone have any tips on how to change the Lambda sensor?
On 98 sport (has aircon)
As far as I can see, its gonna be awkward whichever way I try and do it!
So attack it from the top, or bottom?
Or any other way?
Cheers!

Remove the sai which you could leave off if you wanted to you would have to blank the little hole left in the exhaust manifold, then you should be able to get it removed from going in the top , I was lucky as was fitting a janspeed in that picture.
