Here for swap/sale is a 1988 ford escort xr3i cabriolet, i will be as honest as possible with this car cause it is not in perfect condition but it is in condition for its age considering it is 21 years old. according to the old mot certificates the mileage has not yet gone around the clock, but i believe it probably has, i believe it has done 136,000 but that is under average for its age and it does run smooth. This car is not standard previous owner has fitted 17" wolf race alloys with 205/40 R17 tyres fitted all on 3-4mm, it has also been lowered and has a RS bodykit fitted consisting of boot spoiler, bonnet and side skirts. Since i have owned it i have fitted a jvc cd player, and 2 mutant front speakers and 2 new wiper blades. Has MOT till june 09 and tax till end of this month (april 09) but i will be adding 6 months tax. The previous owner also fitted a new rood last year but did not change the cable at the back of the roof so this will need doing. As any car there are some minor issues. E.G the n/s/r wheel bearing has started to make some noise, slight rust to the front edge of the bonnet and behind the rear bumper, and a slight oil leak on the engine somewhere but it is not major. apart from these few minor issues the car is in good condition.
