whenever i go to yahoo and do a search, no matter what i search for, the results always go to other dodgy sites.
for example, if i search "corsasport" the first result it shows me is corsasport.co.uk BUT when i click on it, it takes me elsewhere.
it goes first to search.yahoo.com then takes me to ebay?!?! wtf!!
so i search for play.com in the yahoo website search bar, and first result is www.play.com
i click on it and it goes to http://subsoul.net/?q=play.com then to some other website?!
google works fine?

+1 here for Avira. AVG started going downhill after V8.0
Although with Avira you'll need to google how to disable the MASSIVE "BUY ME BUY ME" banner when it updates

use comodo fire wall(free and mong proof)
Superantispyware (free and mong proof again)
and avg...
try going to prefrences and seeing if your filtering your yahoo searchs, the internet has more porn/religious websites than anything else, you might want to filter shit like that out.

Comodo will scare you if you're not computer literate, because you won't know what you're allowing and what you aren't. It's what I use, but it could be a bit complicated for you... try it out.
As for antivirus, I use Avast. Can't fault it yet.
