This is where we'll see if Keane is any good.

You can't really judge him on his time at Sunderland where all he really did was buy players en masse.

To be honest Curbishley was never going to join Ipswich he has said on numerous occasions that he will only take a Premiership managers role. And he's a Sunderland fan but loves London - Ipswich is neither of those.

Sven also never going to happen, one he'll be looking at a big club to put his name back out there and really Ipswich don't have the funds to keep him happy. He'd be wanting millions

Roy Keane is an excellent appointment in my eyes, he did an awesome job at Sunderland. I don't know a Sunderland fan who was happy when he left

You've got a born winner and a manager who is experienced in taking a side from the Championship into the Premiership with a decent budget then

He did waste alot of money on players not good enough for the prem but atleast he will give you a very big chance of getting back into the prem

His signing policy was slap dash, you'd like to think he'd have learnt from that.

As soon as he took over he had about 10 players in, within a month. Including a vastly over priced goalkeeper.

Keane's attitude will always get the better of him in managment. I can't see him lasting.

funny how you seem to be more concerned with united than your own team.

he wont stick around long if everyone around the club has this small time attitude you seem to have.

WTF?

I'm more concerned with the Premiership as our season ended months ago while Jim was in charge.

you keep popping up in threads with "fergusons a cheating cunt" this and "i fucking hate united" that. surely you should be more concerned with ipswich, and maybe local rivals like norwich.

Seconded.

Keane spent shit loads to get Sunderland into the Prem, then when he got there he bought some terrible players. His record isn't even that good. He lost the same amount as he won. Something like played 100, won 41, lost 42. I can't remember the exact number but it was very very close.
