We chose matt black cause a) we can do it ourselves as it takes no effort b) it's super cheap and c) if we ever get stone chips or anything, or have to replace a panel, it just takes a quick spray

It's a sexy colour. I love the "we don't care" vibe going on. We're gunna velcro a can of matte black in the boot and if a bit of paint flakes or whatever, simply spray it in front of everyone.

It's difficult to know how far to go really. It was meant to be budget but we're both looking at more expensive bits like carbon door inserts, tuning parts, wheel refurbs, nicer tyres and so on.

The full cage is gunna cost us a fair bit but it's a must really.

Look forward to seeing this guys - any particular deadline you've set yourselves? Seem to be cracking on with it pretty quickly atm!

Ace choice on the colour scheme too - I remember at Trax a couple of years back there was a matt black capri and when everyone else was cleaning their cars, she was just spraying hers with a rattle can

Wheels staying btw? Look pretty good on those I reckon.

No deadline, just working on it as and when we can.

The wheels are staying. Just need to get them refurbed with new rubber.

And yeah, that's the plan regarding the 'cleaning'

Decided to do some more work on it today...

Another matt black? Nope, another 12 cans ordered...

A bit patchy but it'll do!

Most of the bolt-on bits done. Going well.

Bought the GSi Drive Shafts, C20XE Loom and ECU, a engine stane setup for the XE and a few other bits.
