I went out this morning to find a rather large puddle of oil under the rear passenger side of my car-

My KW rear damper on my fiesta zs had been leaking, its never done it before and i havent had them that long (3 weeks). I bought them 2nd Hand and the bloke had them on a 2008 fiesta so know he hadnt them long either...

KW wont answer their phone, and im a little worried about driving with probably no oil in the shock...

Can they be fixed / re-sealed or whatever? Should i be worried to drive the car as is?

I was looking for reasons for leakages and one of them was if the shock piston had been hend in a vice.. now i hadnt done this as i had an air gun to wiz the nut off but the previous owner could of?...

Thanks!

I think it may cost about the same to have it repaired if possible as the cost of a new unit, why not replace both with some gas units.
