You know it says "optional charges" when u book a ticket.....whats that about?

cos its like £5 each way to go somewhere? I Was just curious

Also- what card offers free or reduced charges when you book? instead of the £10 charge? is that per ticket as well or transaction?

cheers

Charges are for priority boarding, luggage (you get hand luggage free but have to pay for anything else), checking in at the airport and paying by any card other than VISA electron.
Think the charges are per booking but could be wrong. When I took the mrs to Barcelona it was advertised as £10 each way but by the time I'd paid for everything it cost £100 total. Still pretty cheap though

I think optional charges can relate to having in flight meal, extra baggage allowance etc

I think visa electron might be a card that doesn't cost as much.

£5 per flight per person if booking with anything other than Electron.

We booked return flights for three booked on a Maestro (as no one has an electron) and cost and extra £30. It's just a rip off.

Can get an Entropay account which is a virtual electron card.
Works out cheaper than the ryanair fees if you can't get a new card

Yes, you can pay actual money to get on a cramped B737 half an hour earlier than everyone else. I'd pay money to get on last...

ryan airs a rip off. cheaper on easy jet, fact.

advertised the flight as 99p per person, then when you went to book it, it added shit loads extra for 20kg's of luggage and paying with a mastercard
