awrite got a problem x16xe its just started doing it today, everytime you switch it off it judders alot, its as if its still trying to stay started if you know what i mean, the fuel pump is wining would that cause it? thanks

In the old days that would be down to carbon build up on the valves , never heard of a x16xe doing this , first check plugs better still replace them ,also make sure you are using correct grade of oil 10/40 or 15/40 would be fine , other than that you could try putting some red-x in the tank, Mmm thats all I can think of, any eml but I doubt it as sensor fault would not cause this problem, bit of a odd one this.

its just new plugs in there and there black its the right oil aswell and no managment but i did have to change the cts sensor because it wouldnt start

So combustion problem fuel related as the plugs is the clue, injectors maybe or even ecu problem like I said a odd problem,overfueling for some reason.

Was it the correct sensor for the engine confirm that, check air filter is clean.

I,ll ask a mate what he thinks, at the moment I can,t think of any thing else that I have not mentioned, running very rich causing run on, I,m thinking ecu again but thats a rare problem but can happen, if you was close to me I would let you try a ecu swap to see if that helped, I,ll have a beer and think on it.

would be leading towards the CTS being the wrong one..
other than the problem with turning the car off does it do anything else i.e. any problems when driving

no not that i know of mate i know it doesnt rev as fast as it did before it stop working, when revving it pops on come down if you know what i mean, its neva done that ,could the pump be nackered and throwing in fuel when switching off?
