I've got a 94LS, and the RON plug only gives me the option of 91 or 95. Does any one know if i can use the RON plug from a later corsa, that had 98 on it (ie: a 95/98 plug).......i've got a feelin this wud improve things when i switch to Optimax later this week (as this is 98/99 RON i've heard).

Yes should be fine, its just a different resistor IIRC.

Yeah go and get one from a scrappers, or ask at your vauxhall dealer.

Cheers for ur help. Just wonderin, does any one know if a C12NZ engine (early 1.2 8v) will be ok accepting the 98 RON plug, and drinkin optimax.

Also, does any1 here have a 1.2 8v with a 95/98 RON switch as opposed to a 91/95 switch like mine?
