hiya, seeing as u know loads about computers i thought u were the person to ask...just bought some new anti virus software and it says enter cd and restart. i guess this is so the computer boots from the cd? i'm not sure how u get my pc to start from a cd tho?!

leave the CD in and PC will boot up from that when it restarts

you dont have to change anything in the bios? will that definately work?

You might have to change the boot order in the bios.
When your PC reboots press whichever key takes you into the bios. Then look for the section which lists the boot order. Change it so that ATAPI CD-ROM is first, then save and reboot with the CD in.

ok do i need to change it back afterwards? and does it matter wahts second in the order? also is bios the same as setup?

bios will do A drive - C drive then cd drives - do if ya need to boot from cd yeah u need to change it around

Change it back afterwards to c: only, it'll make it boot up slightly quicker as its not checking other devices on boot.
