8.10,13,15mm sockets and ratchet, 13mm spanner. just wedge something in between alternator and engine like a lever bar to push alternator back then tighten the m8 nut up while holding the other end

in some cases the alt wont fit ut the bottom with the drive shaft in place. my xe it wouldnt anyway.

they will go past the driveshaft just be patient with it and wiggle it loads, you will find it will be hard to get out but easy to get in dunno why.

think i used 13mm spanner and 13mm socket on ratchet, lever bar and 18mm ratchet spanner

nic i think some cars they dont come out as i know when we done my mates corsa xe it wouldnt come out for shiitt, was very anoying as didnt wana take out the shaft,
in the end we just popped the bottom ball joint, left the wheels on, and pulled the shaft out so there was movement, still fidldey tho
