Carrick for me has been brilliant this season, I'd say better than Alonso and im a big Alonso fan tbh.

Crap game on Saturday but atleast we did what was needed. Just need a big performance next wednesday to finish off a great season.

(hoping fegie doesn't leave either, dont think he will mind)

A lot of Liverpool fans would tell you Alonso has been our player of the season this year. Gerrard will win that as the masses will vote for him, but Alonso would of got mine and a lot of 'proper' fans votes.

Quality player imo, we probably have our opinions due to seeing each player more etc. Both top players.

Of course, I dont doubt that. I actually think Carrick has shown why you bought him this season, its taken him long enough mind but he has had a good season.

Have they judged that over 36 games though? He could have been fucking crap in the final 2. Ask the proper fans, you know - the ones who watch 38 in person not 36 on Setanta.
