Well i don't know for sure that its fake, but it looks fake.
Plus, it would be a lot easier to fake than to do for real.

It doesn't look fake.
Going ot the trouble of making all the led things just to fake it would have been far too time consuming.

The bits with the sheep wearing the light coats is real and the probably did get them in a field and have a play about. But it is too dark for such precise shepherding so the distance shots will be CG.

That to me reads it's was all done but they've used a lot of post production to make it look so good, which is exactly what it looked like.
