right then seems to be alot of talk about a convoy going to PVS which i have organised in the past for SC members as members on here (Rich H, Deano87, pow and others) will testiment to
South Central 08
East Anglia 08
and i did another in 07 which is now in the trash can for reasons i dont understand 
anyway if you follow the links you will see i require a bit of information from you in the shape of a name, a local post code (the first 3/4 characters) and time(day)
for example
Fonz (Mazda MX5 Black), OX11, Sunday
i am not going this year though so please add your names as necessarily below
if there is sufficient interest in this then i will produce a convoy route

if there is the interest i will produce the convoy, the timings will reflect the view of the masses, which i suspect will be arriving first thing, whether that be Sat or Sun!

Ok, well I deffo need to be there by gates opening Sat AM so if people aren't too interested for the Saturday, that's fine, I'll just head straight on up on my own

Apparently the quickest route for me is up the A43, although the A34 is an option being only 5 minutes longer and 4 miles less.
My closest junction is at the Peartree Services

Didnt realise you were on that side of the M40.. its quicker for me to cmoe up the M40 so I could meet you on the way?

ok i've taken a quick look at things and
Saturday
i suggest those going meet at
Meet 1 – Hemel Hempstead hotel/office car park off roundabout
Post Code: Green lane HP2 4RZ
Arrive: TBC
Depart: TBC
as this would suit those two going (Rich H and Davcohen) from their postcodes
those on the ball will notice this was used in Convoy 08 and 07 and is a familiar spot to meet, easy to find and known
Sunday
those departing from Reading or east of Reading should meet at the same Hemel Spot and then at Toddington Services on the M1
Daves skater and LC i suggest should meet at Bicester - the Esso garage just north of the A34/M40 junction Esso Garage as this is easy to find, and well positioned to get north either through town or a small back track south to take the M40 noth and pick up the A43 from there
arrival and departures on all RV points are to be confirmed based on the timings drivers wish to get to Santa Pod. this is provisonal at this time.
although there is enough interest to warrent a convoy your locations are scattered widely around the region and so a convoy route as such that in 07 (route map or in 08 (Route map)
(starting at my home, via Reading, Windsor/Slough, Hemel Hempstead and Bedford in 07 and Guildford, Slough, HH and Bedford 08)
wouldnt be practical for those travelling from the West of the region (Daveskater) given their proximity to the A43 route north.
sorry it isnt going to be the marathon convoy that SC saw in 08 interest is low this year

Right, before planning goes much further, I think I'm going to give the convoy a miss this year I'm afraid
I'm actually working over this weekend so need to just get there in minimum time (I can go a more direct route) and be there before a lot of the cars are there tbh.

My rental has been taken off me they left me a cheque although im car less doing my best to buy something this week to get upto the show but doesnt look like the turn out will be anything like our 20 car convoy of last year lol
