I was around my grandads yesterday and he was talking about his MOT.
He said that the MOT guy has told him to remove his normandy veterans sticker from his rear window (the sticker is about the size of a £5 note) as it is a failure to have any stickers on the right hand side of the rear window.
Surley this is not correct? Anyone know the rules of stickers and MOTs? lol

Its just front windows that aint aloud stickers as its obstructing the drivers view, rear windows can be blacked out if you wanted, just sounds like a strict tester tbh so mabe worth just taking it off if its going to that guy.

strict mot testers are wanna be Hitlers they just love the authority, Ok by all means fail a car that's dangerous to be on the road but failing it for a tiny sticker its just f'in ridiculous. Wonder why they have that fail everything in site attuide?perhaps they have a small knob?

I'd hope he didnt fight in WWII, normandy was invaded in 1944 so that was 65 years ago. You had to be 18 to conscribe so that would mean he is ATLEAST 83..

providing he didnt lie about his age, but either way nothing wrong with driving at that age, my Nieghbour was driving until she was 90 and only stopped by her choice not the Drs or DVLA, she was an exceptional woman and could reverse her car in the the tight drive first time everytime!
