Basically i took out a stakeholder pension with my old work in april 2008, with which i have paid in a total of 300 quid before i left for another job. They match whatever i put in so that makes a total of 600 quid. I got a letter from my old employer stating the pension account was never set up with legal and general and as such they have offered me the money back. Thats all well and good but they will only give me the 300 i put in, can i pursue it and demand the 300 they should have put in too? The money will be paid direct into my account as soon as i reply but want to know where i stand before going in and demanding it. Sure there are a few people on here that may know the answer or where i stand.
