Ive had an INDICATED 112mph going downhill on the M2 into Belfast from m lil 12 volt. It did take ages tho, and the car was runnin on 195/45R15 which is why I say INDICATED.

Oh yeah 4got to mention mods, full exhaust, panel filter and plugs.

I have seen 110mph on the clock on my 1.2 8v. That is no lie I don't see the point in lying about that sort of thing. IT was down a very big hill, and I'm sure I wasn't doing that speed really but the speedo said it, really wish I'd got a photo of it but I was too busy gripping the steering wheel

I have had just over 100 MPH out of my 1.2 8V - ACCORDING TO THE CLOCK - I understand the inaccuracy so I am saying I am hitting around 95, thats when I am going down hill.

But I am happy with it like that, I rarely go on the motorway or such, and when I do I can easily cruise at 80mph so I am happy enough.

BigW - my just over 100 mph result is plausable, but yours is way out, you should get your calibration checked, I aint taking the mick, I mean it seriously.

I know m8, thats why I said Indicated.

I was comming from Ballymena into Belfast and was completely flat out for about 10mins, it is a big hill tho. The likeable CL69 knows the road, he'll vouch for me.

I stress Further... It is impossible to do them speeds in a 1Litre And for you to reach 100MPH on 17's is a joke my 1.4 will only do just above 100 on 17's
