my 2002 astra 1.6 has a weird idle problem
sometimes its fine and no problems
other times as soon as i slow down it stalls
it just wont idle at all, it drives fine but just wnt idle at traffic lights etc
any help~?

As said above could be idle control valve, try cleaning with brake cleaner or similar sometimes they just get a bit grotty n need a clean to free things up. If you do make she u give it a dab of oil before puttin it back on, jus frees things up a bit.

If that dont work could be TPS(throttle position sensor), when the car accelerates the sensor tells ecu how far throttle is opened to accomidate air n fuel mixture,sometimes a faultly sensor does not sense the position when the car deaccelerates to idle therefore wont idle correctly or at all. hope this helps
