I think it'll have novel uses a bit like the wii controllers have turned out to be, I can't see it becoming really useful until we have virtual reality and using a controler would hold you back.

I personally play games to relax and chill out, i don't wanna be flailing my arms about like a fool.
It does seem to have useful things, the minority report kinda style of choosing films etc, which seem quite good, and fighting games where you actually have to move out of the way would be interesting.
But yeah, it seems gimmicky at the moment. We shall see.
Also, it is just an update on the eyetoy (the eyetoy being the very first of this kind of thing, which was incredibly basic)

Coincidentally, the guys that done minority report actually made that interface into reality, it was very very cool.
The mid term future will probably be gesture based until they perfect the whole direct connection to your brain thing.
