They dont have Blue lights fitted to their cars. The only cars that can pull you over are ones with blue lights.

As for speeding..i never slow down for them because i dont have to in law.
Where they can give you grief is..if you blatt by at high speed they can radio up porkies and give them your index..police may wait for you up the road...so thats how it is...dont slow down forthem cos you could CAUSE an accident and they cant do fuck all !!

Actually, a copper that isn't in uniform can stop you, but it isn't an offence if you don't stop.

Copper in plain clothes in umarked car can try but cannot stop you lawfully...he may wave his warrant card out of the window and scream at you to pull over..however they must use police officer IN UNIFORM...
the police officer in UNIFORM may be in an unmarked car, however he will engage his blue lights as well.

If you are followed by a person who states he is a police officer who isnt in uniform or a marked police car..just drive to the nearest police station or bell the cozzers off your mobile (hands free) to verify..

There have been many occasions where the cops have been impersonated ..so basically ..fuck em!!

this is what caused this thread tbh, if anything, them plodding along caused congestion and the traffic to bunch up and slow
