Heres a good one:
When I walk away from my Vista laptop at work, I use the windows key and L to lock it and need a password to unlock it.
Is there anyway that I could have something that runs so when I lock the workstation, my status changes from busy to away and then back again when I unlock the workstation?

Doesn't it change your status when the screensaver kicks in anyway?
Could just set your screensaver time to a shorter delay before it comes on?

No Brett, because I have it set as busy when I'm at work, the away timeout doesn't kick in thatway!

I dont think that you can, i think that the "busy" status over rides the away status

Messenger plus might do it.
Go into the settings and you can turn off sounds and notifications etc.
