Nope

Very cheap to nowadays.Few years back me an the GF used to babysit for a family friend. He had a camera set up outside and if you wanted to look outside you just put the telly on channel 8 Was fun watchin all the piss'eds comin home in the early hours

On the same subject one night when they came back we got hammered and waited for somone drunken person to walk past the door. Some lad walked past the door about 3am with a kebab swayin all over the pavement Jason(house owner) waited by the door till he was level with it then kicked the door as hard as he could!! We were watchin on the telly in the front room, you should have seen the Fuker jump! Dropped his kebab and legged it up the road.

Sorry for rantin but it was funny at the time

Well, i know a dude from auchinleck that has got cameras wired here, there and everywhere on his house. The house alarm box is situated above the door archway, he's got a camera hidden in there, camera at the back of the house covering the garden and god knows where the rest of them are.

And all this to keep an eye on the police. He aint the most respected citizen by the polis. He was the first and only guy to stand up in front of three judges in the high court or sumhn, defend his case himself, and get cleared scot free. He knows more law than the polis themselves. Just thinkin about him makes me laugh. One camera even caught a polisman p1shing on his wall!

Not sure maybe £200 for the camera(v.good one)plus maybe a night light ye'now one that comes on if anyone comes near it,helps tha camera out too.

Than get a few electricians quotes on fitting it all in.

I rekon the whole thing would be £250 if you shop around.Bout the cost of a CAT 1 alarm

Good luck mate.

there are garages near me, but not close enuff for my liking, for instance, wat if sum1 were 2 break into the garage, and fcuk the car up, i wouldnt hear the alarm goin off, id rather it was right outside my house, so that i could see it at least, and hav a chance of seeing who it was, and go fcuk em up proper

Get the alarm hooked up to a pager Not hard.

Also you could get a mountain bike and after you lock the car up ride it home? Then Vice-versa.It might seem a bit sad but you gotta pay a small price for havin a sh*t hot motor

Without a doubt mate. If your area is that bad then i would certainly say for you to at least enquire about it. Well worth it me thinks. Then not only would you catch any fucker touching your car, but you'd have proof for the scum and also know who to whack!

think im gonna see about the camera thing, ive got a cat1 alarm, but thats not gonna stop a determined thief, at least as you say ali i will know who did it if ive got em on camera,
corsanut, ive got a bike, and was considering that option as well, but leaving that car at my sisters house and cycling home, but its a hassle if for example i just need to pop out for sumthin, and i need to cycle all the way to her house

Well as you've already said not all pr1cks want to steal stuff, some justr want to do damage. So getting paint poured on your car aint gonna be detected by your alarm, so you'd still be fucked.

If the garage is out of sight, guaranteed the scum of the town will eventually click-on to you leaving the car their, and basically hit it at night when everyones sound asleep.
