The problem is that the talks were going well, until the union decided that they wanted two people that had been sacked, to be re-instated.

The one person was sacked for theft, and the other opened the train doors on the wrong side, then lied about it on a safety report.

willay has clearly had plenty of shit getting to work today.

Luckily I was at my other/paid/'full time' work today, and not London.

Tomorrow I'm in London though, and only started my placement on Monday short walk to Euston for me then Northern line, as opposed to Kings X and Piccadilly.

The is one reason why I don't want to work in London full time. At least commuting in your own car you're in charge of your own fate!

Yeah right! I go in and out of Bedford everyday and the roadworks at the A6/A421 have fucked everything up - I'm sure you'll know where I mean. As the only route in and out of town its a fucking disaster driving into work

They have completed fudged the whole thing, what's the deal with extra roundabout (if you're heading towards Kempston). And it's a drag with the whole dual carriageway on the A421 cut to single lanes and 40 limit, makes it a pain if following lorries.

Saying that, i've started to cross through houghton-conquest and then millbrook if i'm heading to MK or M1, certainly a quicker route.

You working that side of Bedford then?

Leave 10 minutes earlier. Job done. Leave 10 minutes earlier for the train, you're waiting at the station 10 minutes longer

Just did a journey plan on TfL website and apparently I'll be able to get Piccaddilly line tomorrow from Kings X

Bob Crow can go suck on a lemon, a big one!

What have these numbnuts got to complain about anyways? They're getting away with murder because they can, and it will cost us muchos ££!

Well done to the the workers who didn't follow sheep!

There definately needs to be a no-strike clause on contracts!

The whole system is a joke, they really need to sort it before 2012 brings the tube system to a collapse!!

No mate, I take overland to Liverpool St and walk the rest so no different to me, but the RMT are modern day terrorists.

I live in Flitwick (just south of Milbrook) and work on Bromham Road in Bedford. In the mornings I go through Ampthill up to the Interchange retail park, towards the Crowbridge roundabouts where they're working on the A6 and then down to the hospital in town to get to work. What with that and them taking out the roundabout on the A421 further down its a nightmare

Going home I'm actually finding it quicker to go north out of town towards the A421 at Great Barford then down to the A6 that way. Doing twice the miles but 15 minutes quicker

Fair play. Forgot you are over in Essex.

Short walk to Euston then Northern line this morning. Worked out well, and actually spend less time on the tube than if I took my normal route

You mean the workers who aren't in the RMT? They are the only ones who didn't walk out...

That is partly what the strike was over, the Olympics will be nothing without the Tube, which is why they were trying to seal a deal to cover that, yet they wanted to pay nearly fuck all.
