is it any good? i know it's a couple of years old but i've been offered a copy of it today. should i go for it or try to "aquire" CS4?

I still use CS3 daily. Didn't find much advantage over cs4. I also have cs4, but still use cs3. No idea why to be honest

They're all pretty similar, even cs2.

i've not had a go of CS2 for years. never had a go of 3 or 4.

CS3 is just as good as CS4 for 99% of users.

I have CS3 on the PC, and CS4 on my macbook and tbh I couldn't tell if there was any difference

cs4 has more 3d modeling options

is it right that if you have a d60 you need the extra RAW stuff? i'm not even sure what my question asks there but thats what i was told. i could do with that point clarifying if it's true.

i use lightroom only really..

dont do much editing, every i usually do can be done in lightroom, plus it has the workflow stuff
