Had a leaflet come the other day from the NHS saying they need organ donors to register. I'm giving it some serious consideration, though not actually talked to my family about it 
Anyone on here on the organ donor register?
Did you tell your family you were going to do it and were they upset/happy/pleased/angry?
Not planning on dying any time soon btw, but nice to think I could help someone else live if I suddenly died

pretty sure i am or well i definatly did something when i filled my driving license thing out, and family know about my wishes should the worst happen.

Interesting. If I signed up I would want to tell them so they don't have a double shock if the worst happened, but at the same time, I know they would try to stop me.

I'm on the organ donor register and so is the rest of my family.
My mum was on the register when she died, and she managed to go on and save the lives of 3 people.
Every cloud has a silver lining i supose...
Edit: I shall also be on the Bone Marrow register soon hopefully.

I'm on the register for everything they can get, also im a blood donor, i faint afterwards but i still do it cause my mum would of bled to death, after giving birth to me, if she didnt get blood
