right ive got a pair of kickers 6&9s at the back on the parcel shelf.
im looking to get a sub and wire up the 6&9's.
for this i know i'll need a 4 channel amp which is bridgable and i'll bridge 2 channels together.
but what im not sure about is what RMS sub i should get.
my friend suggested a 125Wrms jl audio sub to use with a kickers smp 4x50W rms. i'll brigde 2 channels to give 100W rms to the sub.
is this any good or should i be looking for a sub around 300-400W rms and a suitable amp with that
taking in mind that my budget is only 350 quid.
need all the help i can get.
cheers

If I was you, I would get a nice 2 channel amp, running your 6x9s and then get an active sub (with an amp built in ready matched to the sub)
Would be your best bet I rekon, as a tidy 4 channel amp capable of running your speakers and sub would be quite expensive!
£350 is quite a bit, and if I was you, I would look at something a bit better than kickers and jl audio to be honest!
I would consider the vibe range! Had the set up in my corsa, and would recommend it to anyone!
Had vibe slick 6x9s running off a vibe blackbox 2 amp, and a CBR12 active sub!
Whole thing didnt cost me far off £350!
Sub kicks out about 800w rms and speakers about 150w rms! With 1600w and 475w max!!
Hope this helps!

Haha, sorry, its 550w RMS, not sure what I was thinking of!

Thats the one ive got! Think its really good, cant really compare it with anything else, as its the only sub ive ever owned! But I think its great, and it has impressed a few people!
But there are people out there that hate Vibe for some reason!
