recently ive brought a v reg 1.6 16v sport and the standard suspension is really really soft and is abit too high for my liking.
it leans into a corner more than a bike lol.
what i was woundering was how much lower is the sport than the base models if any.
and if i buy some -40mm springs how much would it lower it as some springs are based on the base model and if the sport is 30mm lower then -40mm springs would only lower 10mm.
if anyone has got a picture of a sport -40mm on standard wheels that would be great.

The Sports come with the same Suspension as the Base Models IIRC?I think only the GSI's where slightly lower.
So if you got 40mm Springs it will lower the car 40mm or there abouts!
If your wanting it to handle well there just 40mm isnt the way to go,Corsa's arent good handleing anyhow so you have to spend quite a bit on the Suspension to make it handle half decent.

The only corsa model that was lower was the GSi's the sport was running with basic suspension so any kit will make it look better.
From standard
To this 80mm/60mm

cheers for the replys guys.
i think im going just go -40mm on just springs. its going to be better handling than standard, look better and hopefully still get over speedbumps. as there is loads on the way the gym so it needs be able get over speedbumps.
.
one other thing completely off topic but my egr valve is playing up and the engine warning light is on at the moment it is booked in the garage but i was woundering do you think this will be slowing it down abit? i know its using alot of petrol but will this also be affecting performance?

My standard 1.6 Sport springs are shorter than the springs fitted to my sisters 1.2 16v Breeze, with different GM part numbers on them too.

egr valve shouldnt make it slower, just run not very well. dont spend a fortune and buy a new one, blank it off. can get the part from vauxhalls for about £5
