FIFA are surely secretly piloting video evidence here?

I've just watched the Brazil v Egypt game again and the Italy v USA game and there is 3 times the referee has seemingly made a decision only to change it within a short period of time.

The penalty decision with the guy from Egypt has already been proven to have used video evidence as far as I can see. Gattuso was tackled at knee height and extremely late by the American midfielder probably deserving a red card but he waits a good long while before issuing it and Altidore being tripped in the box for the penalty, where the referee normally points to the spot right away he makes gestures which intimate there's no penalty then ends up giving one.

Brazil v Egypt

Italy v USA

Thoughts?

the argument was that it would hold the game up but on all occasions it was quite swift

If there's a 4th official watching it in real time on a monitor and in contact with the referee using an ear piece that argument is shot to bits really a decision can be made within seconds aye.

I'm 100% for it personally.
