Fired it all up last night, the signal in and around my house is piss weak but when I do a site survey via the AP I get about 20 sites and the signal is stronger the further away they are which is basically because of the high gain omni having very little sensitivity under neath. The antenna is only on the side of my house at the moment so it will be interesting to see what I get when its up above the roof line by a few feet.

Allows you to run it at 2.3GHz apparently, although i'm not sure why you would do that apart from the fact you'd have less interference from other (typical home) wireless comms. But i can't remember if you need to have a licence for 2.3GHz.

I used to have Novice ham license that covered that range (until I let it lapse) so I'm guessing you do need a license.. I'm sure that wont stop it from working though

The cable? Just ordered 5m of super low loss solid cable for £22 with an SMA connector and one end and a Male-N at the other
I was going to mount the EOC-2610 right up the mast with the antenna but decided its probably best that it sits at the bottom so I can get to it to reset it if it crashes

Are you running the yagi from the EOC rather than using the internal antenna? (would have thoughts the internal would have been good enough).
And yeah, the cables are usually called Pigtails from what i remember.....
get some pics either

The internal hasnt got very good gain and at the moment the EOC is at my house on an omni, the yagi will be on the 500mW client adaptor to do some testing

Heres the temporary setup until I get the mast, this is only an 8ft mast and I'm only using half of it:
And the Yagi:

Update: Couldnt get line of sight to my house but I installed DD-WRT wifi access point software on the EOC-2610 and I can see a good 25+ networks near my workshop so I just crack them and use them as I require
The EOC-2610 is setup to run in client mode and its plugged into the WAN port of another wifi router so all I need to do is connect to the local wifi router and I'm on the network that is half a mile down the road and for freeeeee lol
