1. I would have thought the fact that it had a Nigerian address would have raised alarm bells, and that the ebay/PayPal addresses were in two totally different countries.
2. Stop being so tight and asking for the payment to be made as a gift - every other fucker out there has to pay the PayPal fees when they sell something, what makes you exempt from this? Also, doing this is against eBay/PayPal terms of service and if reported you could have your accounts suspended.
