How does the front of this come off so I can get to the nut inside?
Just pull hard?

There'll be 2 bolts sunk into the back of the steering wheel, probably torx bolts, undo them the it should lift out

Thats an airbag wheel.. Disconnect the battery if you want to be 100% safe.

That centre bit is your airbag, best off disconnecting the battery then give it 10 mins before you remove it, they have a capacitor in them so it could still go off for 10 mins after you've disconnected the battery
