For about 2-3 months now i've been getting these 'Panic attacks'.

The first time it happened I was at work and was like WTF is going on? I just ignored that because I thought I was having a funny turn, but they kept on coming from that day

So I told the old Queen, and she started to worry, as she thought it was something to do with my head injury. So she booked me in to see the doc...

When I went to see him he got all my past history up so he knew about my crash/head injury, then I explained what was going on, that for NO reason I was absolutely shit myself etc, and he said it was defenitly something to do with my head injury, that they're panic attacks, and they cannot be controled and if they get worse to go and see him.

So my questions is, WTF is going on? why am I getting these ''panic attacks'' so long after my crash? wierd.

Summary - I keep getting panic attacks and i'm wondering why!

no one can help really surely your doctor should have told you all this, or refered you to a cognitive therapist or something.

Woman at work keeps having them, although we think she puts them on, either that or she needs more alcohol in her system.

Monster,I know exactly how/what your going through as i am the same.I was also in a Bad Car Accident 2 Years ago (March 07) and lost a very close Mate and nearly lost my best Mate Etc.
And even now im getting Panic Attacks.

Mine aren't over my Accident though,But im getting them because of my Accident.Ive been to see a Psychologist (sp),Doctor and that is what they have told me.I got told about these book's (Overcoming Anxiety Self-Helping Course) And they have worked slightly so its maybe worth buying them?

She told me that i may have these Attacks for a few Years but they willl get easier/Less and hopefully go away.

The mind is a very strange powerfull thing and i find them very hard to overcome.
It's very easy to worry but hard to get over them,Some days/Situation's make my worse aswell.

Hope you feel/get better soon though Mate.If you want me to try and get more Info let me know or want to talk Etc then please feel free,Although i dont know you personally i thought i was the only person to get these so it may make it easier for me aswell.

Craig

I used to get them, not a pleasent experience at all. I know my reason for getting them and was soon able to stop them, every now and again I'll get a small one and it still scares me.
