no not even close to being simple, why in gods name do i have to create a playlist just to burn a frigging cd??

media player = just drag straight across.

i cant even begin to describe how much i want to stab mr apple with a blunt metal object.

tbh.. iTunes is the most simple program I've ever used to burn a cd..

Drag the tunes you want from you library into a new playlist which will be the cd.

Then click burn..

Not hard.

How else are you going to choose the songs that will be burned?

the same way you would do it in media player which has a rip to cd list pane where you just drag the songs from your library across which doesnt get saved after you are done (unless you ask it to)

instead of the shite way itunes do it, where you have to make a new playlist, drag the songs across and have them saved in a playlist for no reason when they are already in your library so you then have to go and delete the playlist.

just pointless imo, obviously i doubt im going to win this arguement but imo its just a shite way of doing and if its your first time trying to use itunes to burn a cd it isnt exactly self explanitory (sp) where as in media player burn is quite clearly at the top.

I hate iTunes with a passion, it has so many stupid problems and is the most illogically made program ever. WMP FTW TBH.

You can hear him now: "I have created the most frustrating media player in the world, now you will all be going bald with stress so you'll look like me, mwahahahahaha"

FYI Mattel - Mr Apple = Steve Jobs

yeah i think iTunes is wank (VLC is where it's at on the Mac), hence why i use Winamp for everything including transfering to the iPod. Use Nero for all my burning needs

Exact same, I managed to use 2 different iPods on this computer today without needing to competely lose all the songs on one of them! iTunes wouldn't of let me do that, god bless Winamp. Even managed to teach my missus how to use it!
