just won a corsa b on ebay with suspected broken timing chain (rac man says thats whats heppend) owner says it turns over freely no funny noises etc and when it gave up it didnt bang or anything.
are these engines a clearence engine? i.e chain breaks nothing gets smashed up? so could fit a new chain and away it goes? or does it sound like could be something else? or new engine job?
not had owt todo with 1.0 3 cylinders before
