Was reading David Gill's comments n a 39th PL games and saw a little bit about how United and Liverpool have apparently been approached about playing a friendly just before xmas in India!!

I think it could happen tbh.

Both clubs are after raising their profile in India after both recently pushing new commercial activities over there (United have opened up a sports bar, we've teamed up with a University and opened a football training camp).

And you've seen how much money is in the IPL for cricket, I think a £3-5m payday per club could easily be on the cards if it happened.
