culdnt get me modem to shut the fuck up when it calls out etc so i opened it up......stuck blue tack in da speaker......stuck selotape over it.....put it bak together and now it doesnt scream like a bitch!!!
all when ive just had a few bevvies!!!

Or you could go into the additional commands section of the modem properties and type M0
Thats the code for no noise. You can then increase the noise by putting M1, M2 etc until it reaches the desired level.

where do you go to find additional commands?
i've tried control panel>modem>properties, but can't see it
mine is loud as feck. v annoying
