right ive currently got a video, sky digibox and a tv. the tv has two scart sockets on the back of it and both of these need a scart socket. if i want to add a dvd player to this, can i?!

have you fgot the phono vidoe sockets? Three holes one yellow, one red and one white? They are normally used to connect up a camcorder but you can use them o connect up DVD players.
Or you can get scart doubler, they sell them in argos. You simply plug it into a scart socket on your tv and you can connect other scart devices to this and switch between which one you want to voew. (they cost about £8)

do they work with playstation 2,s pissed off with having to swap the video scart for the playstation 1 all the time????

I would have thought so, and if they dont you can take them bakc to argos for money back no questions asked. Its cheaper than buying a new tv

true, do u know what the quality is like with them? is it as good as it is with just one device into one scart?

yeah seems to be my gf mum had one until she brought a new tv. Only trouble is you have to get out of your chair to press the switch to swap betweem video and dvd.

Doesnt the DigiBox have 2 scart connections? And generally newer videos do as well?
If so plug the DVD player into one of these and it feeds through to the TV.
I have my DVD player plugged into my Freeview box. Which is then plugged into my Video which then plugs into my TV.This is because my TV has only 1 Scart.
I did use one of those Scart doublers and the signal does get affected. I found all other devices had to be switched off or you would get colour bands across the screen.

iv got 1 of these things from argos, i got my ps2 and dvd player connectd in2 it an it works fine, i got a spare plug 2
