Hey everyone,
Just wanted to know if any could help me?
I have G-Max shocks and springs on my car (60mm) they came on the car when I got it, and everytime i go over even the smallest bumps theres a massive bang, like metal against metal, someone said it could be that the person who had it before took the bump stops off to make it lower?
Could this be true? If so has any one got any pics of bump stops and where they go so i can go to the local scrappy and get somee
Sean.

Removing bumpstops won't make it lower unless it's sat on them all the time (which it won't be with 60mm springs on), they just do what the name says, stops the top mount hitting the strut, making a bang.
My Apex stuff did that after I put them together, so I cur the bottom part off of a standard bumpstop and put that on, problem solved. You can also buy shortened ones, but I've had no problem with mine. Make sure you cut the bottom part off and not the top, because the hole is smaller at the top so that it holds on to the piston, which stops it going up and down all the time.
