street racing is marking out a local curcuit with a start and end point and seeing who finishes 1st....or 1/4 milin..things like that...not jus drivin hard in a convoy cuz theres no end or start really

Nah its all good to watch but after the big crash down Nottingham last sunday it bought the reality home. One car smashed into about 6/7 cars after he lost it on a bend real fast, all that damage, sumfink like 3 scoobs, a sierra etc nah. Im fed up with it to be honest.

Well i guess it is a bit stupid really, i learnt my lesson to a degree (not completely tho) when i had a Golf R32 welded to my back bumper. At the time i had a 2l 16v nova..........i got to 85mph and was approaching a corner, i shat myself and thought Hmmmmmmmmm i think im going a bit too fast for this corner, lost the back end snaked across the road twice before mounting the kerb, missing a lamppost by about a foot and launched my car 10feet down the pavement before resting in some bushes Shook me up a bit - got me thinking....... i could have hit the lamppost and died, could have hit a car on the opposite side of the road, or even hit someone seen as i mounted the pavement. I know its not big and it's not clever but you do get caught up in the adrenaline rush and dont think of all these things when your going for it. I Do have a bit of a go here and there off the lights and down dual carriage ways but as for racing round in 30 zones/Built up areas - it's not worth it!
