think this is the correct section so here goes
car is a 95 14 16v sri corsa b - anytime i go to sell it something goes wrong lol
the speedo stopped working and the milage stopped working about a month ago and the car kept dying out when i came to a stop in traffic or at a junction, replaced the clutch and everything worked fine again and the car was going 100%. but now the speedo has stopped working and the milage has stopped again and it has started this cutting out crap again, but the clutch is fine this time so i really am clueless. anyone shed some light on the situation? what to check etc

The problems you are describing with speedo and milage most likely indicate you need to replace the speedo cable or that it's loose.
what you mean it's cutting out? stalling?

im sure i have one laying about here somewhere,must fit it and see.all corsa speedo cables the same?
yeah just dies when come to a stop, once its started again it idles around 500rpm

I'm not sure mate, some are electrical, some mechanical.
And the dying problem, sounds like it's not getting enough fuel through, it's starving petrol. Can't say for sure, have you been playing with the air filter or something of that nature? Does it idle very rough on 500rpm?
