I'm running out if ideas for this problem, have been stuck on it since Friday!!

I am using a refurbished laptop which was reformatted. I installed my programs etc that I wanted including google chrome. I've had problems since Friday mrning, when I turned the computer on I was logged out of cs, Went to log back in and it took me back to the page I was on before without logging me in!! If I enter bad credentials it will give me the error message so its not a problem with my login. Im logged in on my iphone and the other computer in the house fine. Very annoying.

I've already posted here http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=511421 .

Ive tryed turning off mcafee, logging in in internet explorer (same problem), System Restore - To Thursday when it worked fine, C20xe.co.uk.

I'm stumped. Anyone come across a problem like this before?

Try clearing the temporary Internet files in <whatever browser you are using>.

Sounds like it can't write the cookie file - is there no other firewall/AV software running?
