works properly again! I finally decided to get rid of Norton as the past 2 months my computer was getting slower and slower so figured it must be Norton despite it being fine to start with. Its not even a year old and has a good spec so it had to be the anti-virus that was the problem. Made it crash and caused problems with flashplayer
Now got Avast! installed and its miles and miles faster than it was

For the past 3 computers I've removed the crap norton/mcafee/whatever and put AVG on it - miles less intrusive and lets the computer run quicker.

Its back to how it was when I bought it. Was getting so frustrated with it. It even turns on quickly now

Yup Norton hogs resources sooooooo much!! First thing I ask when mates complain of a slow PC lol.
