right then, as it is now ive got a c16xe in my car, but if i wanted 2 put a c18xe into it what would i need 2 change? also could i use my 4branch and gearabox off my c16xe and are all the mounts etc the same or do i need bigger shafts and stuff?

iam sure there big blocks so you would need all new mounts and shafts etc, and if your doing that, you might aswell throw a redtop in it

yea but redtops are too common. and a c18 looks simular to a c16

need to change everything you would for a 2litre shafts box mounts exhaust

dunno like. jus summin different s'all. everybody puts redtops in thier corsas. its too common now and ive had about 5 2.0's. jus wan summin unusual now. n i liked the way the engine looked in the red 1800 corsa 4 sale a few weeks ago.

Its common for a reason. Tried and tested many times. Perfect conversion for a Corsa. If you really want something different, put a V6 in yours.

no a c18xe out of a 1800 astra gsi. i know what engine im on bout. the mk3 gsi's. so can any1 help?

That was an X18XE1 with a Z18XE plastic cover.
If you want to keep your box and mounts etc then get an X18XE1. If you really want the C18XE then you'll have to change everything you would with any other big block like everyone else has said.
