How much do people spend on electric shavers?

I could do with a new one.

Fancy one of those Philips ones with the dock that cleans itself but they are quite serious money But then its something you use most days. Are they really that much better than a £90-£100 one Anyone got one?

I've never used an electric shaver, do they give a closr shave like a mach3 for instance? are they really worth the money? i imagine it would be quicker than getting the shaving foam on etc.

there are certain hairs on my face that an electric shaver just wont touch, and it also does nothing on my neck either. I have tried a gillete one, and an expensive phillips one with a cleaning dock, and neither work, so i stick to wet shaving. ..

Used both Electric shaver and non electric shaver, prefer the non electric shaver as it gives a closer cut,

i have got the philips one with the nieva men cream in

they can do the same job as what a normal razor but you have to take your time as it will miss bits, as already said on here it doesnt always get some hairs off and it sometimes leaves some on my neck that i cant get

I have one with the cleaning dock too.
I bought it because it looks fancy and can do a great job.
Turns out it just looks fancy. It sits on the shelf just below the bathroom mirror because it broke

Just wet shave, its quicker and cleaner.

I got the Philips self-cleaning one, was only about £130 when I got it. Works OK, not that close as others have said. Get about five days use and then put it in to charge and clean. The cleaning fluid costs £5 a bottle and lasts probably 4 months worth of cleaning? I change the cutting blades every 18-24 months, buy them when I am in USA as it's cheaper there.
