If a chap on here can get £5k for an l reg 1.2 with nasty mods then yoyo may well find an idiot to pay £4k for his.
The fact that its had a small ding means fuck all its not like there was any chassis/suspension damage ffs loads of cars have had bumps and paintwork.

Valuation for: Vauxhall Corsa 1.4i 16v Sport 3d Hatchback View Car Review Year / Reg Original Price A1 Good Fair Trade
1996 /P
new £11215
a1 £2585
good £2310
fair £1540
trade £1885
Just to proive parkers is a load of crap.
Your challenge is to find me an average sport with £60k for £1500 not a chance.
Hope this doesnt cause arguments but your saying that accidents devalue cars even more so therefore mine or daimos (used as an example just cos everyone knows it) is worth what less than £1500?
What a grand.
I have a chap now willing to give me 3 for it.

In the real world engine size means fook all over the age of the car.
Besides large engined cars are coming down in price due to an expected increase in oil prices. (caused by some war dunno where they get that idea)

Aren't the Parkers and Glass's guides designed for use by Commercial Retailers.(i.e Garages etc)Not for Joe Bloggs selling and buying his car in Loot.
Hence the low pricing but when for example the garage resell the car they add on aload. Which is why you can always haggle with a salesman as they have a huge markup to play with.
I think 4k is probably abit steep tho. Considering the car has done 50k in 3 years. Plus it is only a 1.0 which is owned by a young driver so to get that engine to shift it has probably been spanked to hell.

Glass's is used for commercial, parkers is just crap, garges buy at trade sell at good or A1 hence the mark up.
