Probabley a common question, but on my airbox theirs a red wire on the side of it, wondering when i fit a k&n, what do i do with it?

what car? what engine?
if its a vacuum pipe just block it off

1.2 or 1.4 8v spi i take it?

Trace the wire (it's actually a vac pipe) back to the throttle body, disconnect the red pipe and put a screw in the hole so it's blocked off.

On the side of the box, can just see it

And yeah its a 1.4 8v dude

just block it off at either end

so trace to to the tb, then do i have to block it off or can i just leave it open?

You can either:

Block the hole off where the red pipe goes at the throttle body

or

You can leave the red pipe on but block the end that you've taken off your airbox.


It's your choice.
