No Jillian, as yet nothing new has come about. Its stalled as they just cant get the money in the current climate.
Their have been some rumours flying about that this new refinancing included some stipulations about a date for starting to build being set before the end of this year so we'll have to see. So no Pimms stands just yet!!
On the plus side...we now sell Wraps at Anfield this season We've gone all posh

FAIL
This thread is worthy of non-u2uness as other people may be interested in the new Anfield and may slightly be interested that the current Anfield now sells POSH FOOD (well posh for scousers anyhoo) such a wraps

TBF it stalled about a year ago now.
we should see work start before the end of the year IMO. The yanks want to build it as its the one way they can make a decent return on the club.

I wonder how many wraps they'd have to sell for the club to make a decent return...

At the cost they are charging for them I'll of personally paid for the new stadium by buying on a game for the whole season.

[kickthemwhentheyaredown]As I just saw on 606:
No trophies for over 3 years
No titles in over 20 years
All you've got to show for your new stadium is a piece of paper

No trophies for 4yrs
No CL trophies ever
You may have a nice new stadium but all its created is massive debt and no atmosphere

Incorrect - we have a hole in the ground as enabling works were started.

We've also done a load of work on the roads around the ground as it is which make the place look 1000x better.

Best food at Anfield is the Scouse Pie.
Not sure what was in it, but it was f*cking well nice

Im certain that has gone now, replaced with the generic Meat and potato pie (which is basically was anyway!).
