fit my old standard air filter box with a KnN/Pipercoss pannel filter like the one in the pic below ( just need to get the blakpipe that connects the air box to the grille) or leave on my air filter shown below?

not sure which would be best for prformance =)

drill loads of holes in the side of the air box (not engine side) then take out all the plastic inside the air box ( called de-risticting) and leave the panel filter in it. Thoses cone filter will just suck up hot hot from the engine.

or use the cone, heat shild and cold air feeds, but still best use a derestricted air box

not great with cars (no fuck all about them just like them lol) can you explain more mate?
