banned from a forum because
I posted a link to a rick roll...
the forum was Over Clockers..
anyway..
Everytime I try and register it comes up with a message saying
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
They never activate my account..
To get around this should I change my Ip address.. or mac address.. or both.. or will that not help?

Change ip, either leave the modem off for a few hours/days and then see if it changes or constantly do a DHCP release/renew on the modem til you get a new ip address.....

You can spoof the mac but the site won't be seeing that anwyay.

you can change your mac address of your network card (although depends on network card) and in turn you could spoof it to the router, but like john said, they won't be seeing the mac address anyways, just your ip.

If you do change your IP address it will just add it to the banned list once you try to log in again.
On Corsasport if you get banned the message comes up when a cookie is stored. Try clearing your cookies if you're just trying to read. Also, stop posting shit trying to get lolz, it's gay.

You need to clean your router of your old IP, either use hot soapy water or if you have a dishwasher use that one.
Once you've done that, dry it out and you'll be assigned a new IP as you'd of washed the old one off.
